Get into it, bro! Clients only care about the finished product.

It's a huge psychological barrier. People take so much pride in painting/drawing every single detail and/or not using reference but it's just ego wank.

Every medium is a tool, might as well combine em.

Yeah, I enjoy the challenge of painting/drawing almost everything, the satisfaction of completion to me is very appealing, but the unknown factors of this technique are enticing. We'll see what happens! I've definitely been getting more into photo textures and the like, although after using several camo textures on bots, I've started to just paint my own flat camo and apply that, then its all me! Yeah, ego wanking. :D
